Every year in early August, around 60 amusement rides, 50 food and drink vendors, 120 business exhibitors and 200 arts and crafts sellers set up on the 25-acre fairgrounds around the Königsberg. The 'Kram- und Viehmarkt' in Bad Arolsen is the largest fair in northern Hesse and attracts several hundred thousand visitors each year.

With amusement rides for children and adults as well as a wide variety of food and drink booths, visitors can play, eat and drink to their heart's content. The goods offered at the arts and crafts booths range from traditional oilcloth tablecloths to current exhibition items and decorative knick-knacks.

In the 2000-square-metre trade fair tent, the latest products and other merchandise are for sale at trade fair prices.
